How do I face this season of pressure at work?
Pressure at work can make security feel like something you must continually earn. This verse names the love of money and invites contentment, grounding that invitation in God's words: “I will in no way leave you.” It does not settle questions about fair pay, job changes, or unreasonable demands. It does offer a way to examine what you are asking work to provide. There is a difference between needing a livelihood and needing success to prove that you matter. You can acknowledge practical concerns without making them the measure of your life. When in your working day could you pause, acknowledging that this verse does not resolve workplace pressures, to rest in God's presence rather than measure your worth by your success?
