How do I face this season of pressure at work?
A stronghold is a place of shelter when trouble is real. This verse does not offer a strategy for workplace pressure; it names the Lord's goodness and the refuge found in him. It also speaks of being known, something easily lost when you feel reduced to your output, your availability, or your latest mistake. Taking refuge need not mean abandoning your responsibilities. It can mean bringing your fear into prayer without first making it respectable or manageable. You can acknowledge what is difficult rather than carrying it behind a capable appearance. This verse offers no workplace strategy. Is there a worry about work that you could bring to God as someone known and welcomed into his refuge?
