How do I face this season of pressure at work?
Before the day's requests arrive from everyone else, the psalmist lays requests before God. This verse does not settle your workplace decisions, but it offers a rhythm for entering them: speak, lay things down, and watch. You do not have to make your concerns sound calm or spiritual. The unfinished task, the difficult conversation, and the fear of falling behind can all be named plainly. Watching expectantly is not predicting that the day will go your way; it leaves room for attention rather than frantic control. What would you name in prayer before you begin answering the demands of this day?
