How do I face this season of pressure at work?
Paul speaks to people he calls beloved before he calls them steadfast. Under pressure at work, you may hear only the demand to keep producing. This verse offers a different center: labor that belongs to the Lord is not empty. That is not a promise that every project will succeed, or that every workplace demand deserves your obedience. The emphasis is the Lord’s work, not endless activity for its own sake. You can pause to distinguish faithful service from the need to prove yourself through exhaustion. How would steadfastness look today if it meant faithfulness rather than doing more?
